Re: Re: S87 Town Hall 5

I think we will start to see an influx of outside shooting, which will then start to see the league be more guard friendly. Up until now midrange snipers and guys who could get to the basket dominated (from a guard perspective). But with more sharp shooters coming in and a historical trend of ...

Re: Re: S87 Town Hall 4

Lakers are sitting outside the playoffs looking in, and it's going to be incredibly hard to bring in talent with the current financial makeup of the team. But maybe they can leverage Dantley's expiring and others to get a deal done... take advantage of someone desperate. But it's looking rough. They ...

Allowing Players to be trained into Purple

This came up a few times during the latest Town Hall and seems to have some interest in revisiting whether we should be allowed to train into Purple or not. Personally, I have no problem with it. It's a potential waste of time for the commissioner to input a training, see it's purple turning, revert ...

Re: S87 Town Hall 2

What are the implications of lifting training restrictions?
How will this affect the most successful GMs differently than those who are not as active?
How will it affect parity?
Will it help the league?

It would probably take all of my players to get Magic.

Re: Milwaukee Bucks 1987-88 Presser

You've covered your strengths well, what do you think are this team's biggest weaknesses and how might you go about addressing them?

I think our biggest "weakness" may be size mismatches against some of the bigger line-ups, like the Celtics. So for something like that we may have to lean into ...

Eazy P wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 3:50 pm Do you think Barkley will make the same impact as McHale for your Bucks?
We hope so. He's clearly smaller. But he's so much more athletically gifted than McHale... the only issue is his Jump Shot is not quite as developed and this could limit his offensive growth.

What will it take for you to have a rebuild season?

Trying to get rid of me? Honestly I'm not sure. I'd have to kinda see an end at the tunnel for this team but right now I have win-now young guys balanced out with other players entering or in their prime. So it really depends on how those kids ...

Re: Milwaukee Bucks 1987-88 Presser

Chet Youbetcha, Dimmadome News: we’re hearing news that it was actually the Bucks who were trying to negate Terry Porter’s abilities in order to get him at a discount.

Can you speak to the use of Barkley, given you have Terry Tyler at the 3? Will Charles or Terry move to PF?

Re: Hawks Preseason Presser

Based off the Pre-Season results, do you think Kevin Love will continue his dominance as a top-scoring option in the league, or will Cliff & Reggie and the emerging LaSalle all pull points and shots away from him?

Steve Duin, the Oregonian:

Barkley is an amazing player but scouts around the league have told me they are a little uncomfortable about his lack of size. Outside of Benoit Benjamin, most of the Bucks' roster appears to be a little big undersized. Are there any concerns that this squad, which has ...

Re: Supersonics Season 8 Presser

In the past, one could say you got a little excited with your rebuild and would jump into competing maybe a year too soon. Do you think you are fighting that urge right now? Why kind of moves do you see on the horizon for you this season and next?

Re: S8 Warriors Presser: We're Gonna Be Pretty Good (hiccup)

The Warriors continue to make moves and fly under the radar, in terms of just overall success the last few seasons. Do you think the acquisition of Byron Scott is a pivotal point for this franchise's offensive gameplan that has focused on the front court dominance so much in recent years?
