Our identity is and will always be defense first, specifically rim protection and turnover generation. I think that was the most disappointing aspect of last seasons finish. But we will continue to improve and move forward. Malone will be a nice infusion of offense, although he is not ready for sustainable minutes JUST yet! That said, injuries plagued our back court last season, and he may get his time to shine soon enough.tbone963 wrote: Mon Jun 09, 2025 2:20 pm John Jackson, Jonestown Journal: We all know what happened last season so I don't think anything else needs to be said about the finals collapse we all witnessed. Though preseason doesn't give the whole picture, it must excite you to see Lister and McHale dominating the paint defensively. You're also one of only two teams to average less than 100 pts against. Do you see this as being your team identity? Or does drafting Malone, who leans more offense, hope to balance this roster out?

It was really tough to go through. we were feeling a real good with how everything was transpiring, if we could’ve pullled of the finish, I seriously think it could’ve been one of the best seasons of all sim league history. But instead we were one of the best embarrassments of all sim league history.WigNosy wrote: Mon Jun 09, 2025 2:43 pm Steve Duin, Portland Trailblazers beatwriter for the Oregonian...
Can you contrast the elation of rebuilding a team in a season, getting to the finals, and then the bitter disappointment of choking up 3-1?

Sleepy is the future of our PG situation, but has a little ways to go. I do think he needs some trainings but that will come in due timedigiskunk wrote: Mon Jun 09, 2025 3:09 pm "Gonorrhea" Gary Glumpkin, National Geograph: Sleepy Floyd had a breakout rookie season, averaging 19.1 pts, 3.6 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per 33.2 minutes. With a little training, do you think he has the potential to be a top-5 PG in this league? Also, is he still sleepy?
