I accept. Thank you for your patience everyone, may you all receive what you are looking for from this.
Ok so we are here at the first stop of this review tour we have going today and we are at Bullet's in DC, they are at the intersection of Knicks, Jazz, and Sonics. Now I usually don't do these types of trades, because I don't like doing the one's involving picks. It involves more research, but it caused so much problems I felt I had to do this (even if I was the one that started the whole damn hoopla anyway.) Everyone was talking about. AB you gotta go here. AB the trade. AB you caused this problem. AB this, AB that. I got tired of it Frankie, so I am here to review it now that it is legal. I am going to only do certain portions, because I think some players moved on, picks were traded, IDK it all over the place in there.
Firstly, the Knicks got another guy in Buck Williams who appears to be going great next to King and Moses. Holy cow is that a big three for ya that could compete with the likes of real life LeBron, Wade, and Bosh. The add has created a 9-5 team to date that adds a new athletic dimension to this team. The only problem that the team would have had regardless is depth. If one of the three guys, can the Knicks survive? And there are a lot of haymakers coming out of the league here early. I like it in the sense of going all in.
Next the Jazz get the #3 pick that turns into Dennis Rodman (the GM's favorite NBA player) and and an 88 first round pick. That is a solid return while also moving up in the draft, basically selling two picks for one that they really like. The team is pretty set on a core so losing next years first isn't terrible if all pans out and you can only have so many players to insure, it strikes me as a real life Derik Queen trade, where if he develops into the guy everyone expects you are getting a player that puts more pressure on the other pick than Rodman. So not a bad move if he pans out, but this is a emotional trade I think more than a sensical trade potentially.
Next we have Washington, who get two first round picks to reset and a contributor in Kelser who is a solid rotation guy for a post Buck Williams world. It's a solid return, albeit illegal.
Finally the Sonics. Man, they really thought they were going to tank huh? That guy is an idiot. They get three picks from this draft and 10 points for two picks that were not his to begin with!? Yes. All the yes. However, a top three pick is still pretty nice to look at. He did turn two of those picks into Nate McMillan and Buck Johnson. McMillan I think is adding more to the Sonics than Rodman is currently to the Jazz which is a plus, playing as a versatile wing. Buck hasn't played yet so is a stash piece for now, especially with the Sonics playing well currently.
Knicks: B+
Jazz: B
Sonics: B- (because it involed my pick)
Bullets: D+ (because it's illegal)
