Having the benefit of hindsight, we probably wouldn't have done that move if we knew we had a shot of Wiggins. The flip side is, a lot of our non max targets were given huge contracts. In the end, we're happy with Biyombo here.garbageman wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 3:04 pm If you could do it again, would you still make the Biyombo trade, or would you have brought 26 million more to free agency, knowing that at least through the first two rounds of UFA, you would've had one more max contract to offer?
He's a long term development project- expect him to be a redshirt this year.logpmess wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 4:22 pm You have a lot of expectations for your rookie Boban, but what are your thoughts on Joe Sherrill?
I guess I'd describe it as lukewarm for now- the younger players still have room to fill out, but I'm willing to be patient with them.WigNosy wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 4:55 pm How confident do you feel that you have the right supporting cast around Wiggins?
Well, for those unfamiliar, I am blatantly stealing this idea from soccer (or football if you want to be a snob about it). The league would be two tiers- I'm thinking 18 for the top league (NBA) and 12 for the bottom (D league). At the end of the season, the bottom 3 from the NBA would be relegated to the D League and the top 3 from the D League would be promoted. We would still have playoffs, but I'm not sure what's preferable to the current format vs something similar to Champions League.NOLa. wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 7:44 pm You have been an advocate for a relegation/promotion league for a while. How would you implement this in the league if you could play Sim Gawd.

Okay, in that case let's start with your Division. Your team started off strong, there's no looking past that. Which teams in your division are the biggest threat to your team's success this season?false9 wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 10:29 pmdrkavarga wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 10:14 pm Where do you envision the Magic finishing in the playoff race this season? I think Wig will continue to be the class of the Division- there's a wealth of talent on that team.drkavarga wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 10:40 pm
