Remove Anti-Tank Rules for DCs

As far as I am concerned, if a team wants to lose, let it lose. We have put other incentives in place to win since the anti-tank DC rule was put in place (e.g., points system rewards teams for regular season wins and for win streaks) and if a team wants to make a strategic decision to lose games, it is their choice. With drafts now being populated after the trade deadline with fictional players, nobody can strategically plan their tank to get a great player (e.g., the great tank for LeBron).

The drama surrounding accusations of tanking is not a good thing and puts the commissioner into a bad spot because DCs are something of a subjective business. Asking the league commissioner to scrutinize DCs to determine "who is tanking" is a judgment call. It's time for this to go. There are better ways to de-incentivize tanking (e.g., the "YTW draft") if we still feel it is an issue, but asking the commissioner to be judge, jury, and executioner - especially when the commish may have a competing team - is not the best way to go about things.

I haven't really posted much in these since I'm not actually in the league again yet but damn this needs to happen. The real NBA has real reason to regulate team tanking due to lots of money being involved(tv deals, ticket holders, etc.) and yet they still have zero rules in place for tanking teams.

Furthermore, how do you know if a team wants to lose games unless they say it? Meaning that opponents of tanking teams are cool with it if you put up a facade of disappointment when losing games yet they hate it if you state it out loud.

Which teams in this league have never gotten a top 5 draft pick? I'll wait while you answer....................................................ok stop thinking, not one ever. Every team has built thru the draft. Some of you will now argue that you were trying and didn't want to lose, or that your star player got injured. What was the result? The result was the same as the GM who decided to tank to rebuild a bit. Why is intention mean so much? Truth is it doesn't, it means nothing. You build your team your way and others will build their team their way.

Here is one suggestion though for those who haven't fallen from their horse yet:
If a GM or collection of GMs think that one team in particular is egregiously abusing this and trying to lose games by way of their lineups and/or game plan, they would start a thread that would say "GM BallsQuailNola is illegally tanking and I would like to take control of his DC submissions."

That GM would need ONE THIRD(10) of the league's GMs post in said thread that they agree. If that threshold is met, the targeted GM would lose control of their DC submissions until the end of the season.

I will say that I think no one would ever get a third of the league to agree on this mainly because I don't think a third of the league gives a flying f*ck about tanking. There's a handful of very loud opposers and that's why all tanking rules need to be done away with.

I don't think it's RECOMMENDED that you would not be considered a tanker.
