+1. We also aren't going to sit there and answer 100 question on what the desired contract actually is.Soundwave wrote:Sounds fine and could save the inputters time. But under no circumstances would I allow "$10 over desired salary" or something like that.

Wait, so what is essentially wanted is a blind bid? "Give him whatever he wants" arent there limitations with the way we do things? Lets say Player A wants more than Team B can give, but Team B wouldnt know that. Wouldn't they just be throwing away a bid? I mean the only other options I could see to avoid that would be to A) answer everyones question on what the contract is individually or B) announce everyones desired contract and both seem like theyd add more work. So I'm not sure what we'd be trying to accomplish by adding this option to Free AgencyLoCo89 wrote:+1+1ballsohard wrote:+1. It is possible to quickly (2-3 mouse clicks) dump player contract wants to a single (large) text file which could be pasted in the FA thread.LoCo89 wrote: Wait, so what is essentially wanted is a blind bid? I think it'd have minimal impact at best.78# wrote:I'd vote yes on offer desired. I'm on the fence about dumping all the wants on a file though I guess if anyone had a concern about the inputters knowing what a player wants (that means you Quail!!) that would eliminate all doubt.
It would be a game changer.
Last time someone told me that i did the clicks and next thing i know i was living in a van by the river:WigNosy wrote:It is possible to quickly (2-3 mouse clicks) dump player contract wants to a single (large) text file which could be pasted in the FA thread.LoCo89 wrote: Wait, so what is essentially wanted is a blind bid? Speaking of experience, I even feel the regret of your bids.Inner_GI wrote:Just seems lazy to just send out 10 "Desired" bids, and we don't know how the game will handle it. I like the current FA. It's so much fun to see what teams pay for certain FAs, and obviously the instant regret I get after I pm my bids.
Is this what the playoffs press when they talk about the spurs in the playoffs?RPF wrote:

I meant speaking from experience since in the past I instantly regretted some bids I submitted.Inner_GI wrote:I don't know what you mean by that.78# wrote:Speaking of experience, I even feel the regret of your bids.Inner_GI wrote:Just seems lazy to just send out 10 "Desired" bids, and we don't know how the game will handle it.
