Inner_GI: Kevin Love has been dominant with a career year of 34-11-4, so I think Kevin Love should add an MVP to his HOF resume.

Around the Horn Trade Deadline

Inner_GI: The Wizards GM Xist took a team with no direction to a division leader by making a series of trades and offseason acquisitions, and the Wizards are on track to finish with the second best record in franchise history.

JNR: If Tani runs on a campaign of trades and results, his season should definitely get him GMOY.

JNR: Even though I don't agree with the trade, I think the Hawks will prove to be too much offense for everyone come playoff time.

Inner_GI: With the trade of Jeremy Lin, I think the Hawks opened the door for the Kings to win the championship this year.

Inner_GI: The league has a few very well position young teams, but I think the Knicks have the best future because they have 3 players with blue potential at key positions(PG, SG, C), 7 draft picks in the next 3 years, no large contracts, and 50M in cap space next year.

JNR: You'd expect me to disagree and say the Wolves...AND YOU'D BE RIGHT because the defensive foundation I've created along with a chance at a really special player this year COUPLED with the fact that my rebuilds are usually short equals the Wolves turning this thing around sooner rather than later.

JNR: Thanks Ballsohard. We briefly talked about Nick Malone and his handling of media responsibility, but I want to direct this rant at another GM who mishandled media responsibilities, and I do mean responsibilities, BECAUSE WHEN YOU PROMISE A FAKE SPORTS NETWORK WITH PODCASTS SEMI-REGULARLY, YOU HAVE MADE IT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, TRAYWITHANA! I know you've gotten busy, but podcasts were one of the first things that got me invested in this league, and when you promise podcasts, I don't forget. And I sure as hell will not forgive when you don't deliver on that promise. We need to make a real commitment to bring podcasts back to PBSL. We don't even need a promised schedule, especially with how frequently GMs don't deliver on their promises -- I'M ALSO LOOKING AT YOU RPF, THE ALL STAR BREAK CAME AND WENT AND NOTHING WENT DOWN! But we do need podcasts, at least one a season. If I have to be the one to do it, I will, and that's a promise I will not break. Thanks so much.
