It is so unlike the previous two years in which there was a glow, even a spark as fans entered into the vast arena with hope and joy. That exists no longer. Now there is sadness. There is just mourning and remembrance of the days past. The days of Penny Hardaway running the break as Keith Van Horn strided ahead for an alley oop. The days of Ben Wallace locking down the great centers of the league. The days of Kyle Korver and Mike Miller standing proud as white stereotypes, killing the other teams with three pointers. Now we look to a bleak, cold future of desolation and hopelessness. We have no cap space. We dont have our draft pick this season. We don't have the talent to compete.
