I'm gonna hit on a couple of things from the previous answers because I think there's great stuff from all 3: It's nice to see the Bobcats outplay even their own expectations. Having even defensive success with a team that, on the surface, doesn't look like much, and winning some games too, is pretty rad.
Next, I told Mike Lowry in the presser that Baker had performed pretty well in preseason, but it looks like he's benched now. I'd just like to reiterate that I don't think this is as bad a signing on the surface! The length and $$price are probably the primary concern, but while he's got him and trying to determine how good he is? I'd encourage him to start Baker for a sim. Lost color isn't always lost talent...only one way to find out.
Also, I think it should be highlighted that
@Black Superman has done a bang up job in his first offseason and congrats on holding schedule all the way up to sim 1. Your leadership never left a doubt that things would get done and that the sim would go on. Thank you big time on behalf of everyone, myself included, as well as those who haven't thanked you personally yet.
NOW warriors stuff, we don't totally suck. We have a small sample size of games but are tied with last year's conference finals champs the Nuggets and ahead of a demonstrably better team in the mavericks. I presume it's only a matter of another sim or 2 before I fall down the rankings and these teams leap, but for now it's fun.
Oh! And let's hear it for the 30+ somethings
