The Top of the Draft: 2000-2001

Post by 42PhD »

1. Michael Redd. Drafted by Supersonics, traded to Knicks after 1 season. No titles.

2. Jamal Crawford. Drafted by Wizards, traded to Pacers after 1 season. No titles.

3. Jamaal Magloire. Drafted by Trailblazers, traded to Bucks after 1.5 seasons. No titles.

4. Mike Miller. Drafted by Magic. No titles.

5. Stephen Jackson. Drafted by Bulls. No titles.

So the top picks were all traded in under 2 seasons. Draft picks are soooooo valuable, but the players picked are not?
There's no "I" in team, but you can find "Eat me" if you push it too far.

Crawford's probably the biggest bust ever in sim league history (at least Dikembe was moderately effective and Kenny Anderson was only drafted 4th). I actually convinced myself to take him over Stephen Jackson. Oops.
