Who is the best free agent player?
What could this player offer to a team looking to compete?
Why do you think they are not on a roster at the moment?

Rules: 1 point if you give thoughtful answers, which I will award after the timer ends for responses. The timer ends for responses at the moment the corresponding week's Sim is run.

Note: Use approximately 5 sentences as your bare minimum for 1 point. If you write 3 long, complex sentences, you'll still get a point. If you write 5, 3 word sentences, you will not get a point. Don't @ me.

I think he is a solid, unspectactular big who could play 6-8 min on any contender and hold his own, particularly on defense. He gives your starters a breather and doesnt play too selfishly to become a blackhole on offense.

Given their deep rotation, the Bucks sat on him all season and cut him at the deadline so we have not seen him in action this year. Fresh legs have to account for something.

Ray Blume.

He has can add a defensive element from the bench for a team. His speed will allow him to keep up with guards on switches. His inside and jumpshot prevents him from being a complete liability on the offensive end.

His downside is his handles and passes. He is a little undersized at the shooting guard spot, but he can't really be subbed into the point guard spot.

I'm going to start with a little bias, and say Brooks and Dunn are platinum in my opinion. And I loved having Abdul Jeelani for a few seasons before he got old. All 3 of them are decently well rounded enough to play actual minutes and contribute with Dunn being specifically guard orientated and Brooks and Jeelani having more versatility to play SF or SG. I obviously think these guys are solid because I targeted them over the last few seasons in free agency.
Going outside of my own signings I like Ed Nealy but he's too small for PF and too slow SF. You can sneak some minutes out of him at either, but he will be a liability at some point. Same with Johnny High. That guy is a beast if you have the pace up. He's fast, draws fouls, and steals without allowing too many points, or picking up too many fouls. Problem with him is he doesn't handle or score the ball well enough to hold a PG or SG role for more than few minutes. FUn to watch though.

Who is the best free agent player?
Not sure who the best free agent is but maybe my favorite free agent is Franklin Edwards. I had him on my team for a couple of seasons and he apparently had great chemistry with my team

What could this player offer to a team looking to compete?
He offers defensive depth at the guard position. He's quick and plays tough. He really helped my bench rotation in keeping with the defensive theme that I had for multiple seasons.

Why do you think they are not on a roster at the moment?
I think he's not on a roster at the moment because he's not a great scorer. He only got limited minutes in his previous stops but even then, he just did not generate much scoring.
