I'll bend the rules and name 2 players. One would be Kevin Willis. I count this as a half answer because I already started developing him last season and he's already close to his potentials in only his second season. I'm toying with the idea of increasing his blocking to a B potential which will make him the dominant rim protector I believe he can be.
My second and maybe more interesting prospect is Rob Williams. I didn't pay much attention to Rob in the draft nor during his first few years in the league but when I was looking around for a backup pg, he drew me in. I love his currents as a backup and his potentials as a starter. With Michael Ray expiring after next year, I'm looking at Rob to learn and then take up the mantle as starting pg for the Pistons. At 24, his shooting will only get better. His passing is where it needs to be. His defense and steals are already dominant to match our culture. I'm excited to extend him this offseason and watch him grow into our floor general for the coming years.

Sam Bowie

I'd like to continue developing his athletic skills to make him more efficient. He is already near his ceilings for several attributes and since I cannot train those, I'll focus on the athleticism. Bowie is never going to be one of the dominant bigs in the game, but I think he is a stalwart in the lineup for years to come so I'm curious how much more he can improve his game with training.

For me, it has always been LaSalle Thompson. Since getting him, I have put points into him and built him as a starter. I've always had 2 players that are typical centers, so I needed him to develop as a PF. I pay for his quickness to improve by 5 points per season. He will be over 40 by the time he reaches 26. So he will have the quickness to keep up with most other power forwards in the league, plus the size and strength to find an advantage over them. He is already 100 in both rebounds and 90 on blocks. Ideally, his inside game will improve some so that he can score a little more, but he is already the player I want him to be. I am excited for a few more seasons before his prime for him to get even better.

My guy is Sleepy Floyd.
I have had Nance and Buck for a few seasons now, and most of my effort has gone into building them up into a strong front court. I traded for John Lucas shortly after I got them so they would have a floor general to distribute the ball and keep the turnovers down.
Now that they hit RFA and got paid, I have to trust that they will grow into the leadership roles, and the back court will have a chance to develop. Enter Sleepy. He has great bounce for a guard and I love the offensive potentials. I mean handle and pass are mandatory, but he can attack the rim, draw a foul, and finish at the free throw line. I will be looking to develop his rebounding and defense, and then I think he'll be a 2 way threat.
