S6 Cavs Preseason Presser

Welcome to the Cavs Preseason Presser. We are pleased to welcome the league's favorite GM.

GM jlmarines: Last season was a disaster. We had a disappointed season. Unfortunately we had a horrible UFA. We missed few targets that signed with other teams. I think our weakness was our PF position. We didn't had a big physical defender to help our star C Rick Mahorn. We put too much pressure on C Mahorn, and unfortunately our defense did not have a good season. This year we focused on UFA. During free agent we wanted fearless style players that are willing to put their life on the line.

GM jlmarines: We are pleased to signed PF David Greenwood. PF Greenwood brings leadership, initiate contact in order to make plays, and score a lot of points. PF Greenwood is a proven winner. We are also pleased to resigned veteran leader PG Johnny Davis. PG Davis has great defensive upside with his long arms and great ability to move laterally. PG Davis is also a freak athlete who runs faster than speed of light.

GM jlmarines: We are also pleased to draft PG Michael Adams. PG Adams is a freak. He has never had a turnover in his entire life. He will be a future hall-of-famer.

GM jlmarines: We are was excited to sign dawgs that are not afraid to play defense. We signed free agent C Charles Jones and PF James Hardy. C Jones and PF Hardy are hustlers who play with determination, grittiness, and willingness to sacrifice their bodies. Jones and Hardy will block any shot coming their way.

GM jlmarines: Of course, let's not forget our future hall-of-famers SF/SG Jim Paxson and SG Sidney Moncrief. Both, SF Paxson and SG Moncrief are ready to lead the Cavs again. Both, had great training camps. SF Paxson is locked in on the ball, willing to go get it, and there’s not a whole lot anybody can do about it. SG Moncrief is ready to destroy anyone in front of him and sent them back to the G-League.

GM jlmarines: Overall, we signed solid players that have athletic abilities to finish plays and defend their position. I believe the Cavs are ready to compete with anyone.

Adams is a much better player than Terry Porter. In fact, Porter will have more turnovers and worse season that Adams. Thank you for your great question.
