Season 4 Coach of the Year

Post by AngryBanana »

This will differ from GM of the Year.

My thought is GM will focus on the personnel moves made throughout the season and building a roster.

Coach will focus on how the GM coached the team. This means how the gameplan and minutes made by the GM helped alter the performance of the team compared to how people expected them to perform this year.

Anybody who submits a nomination can claim 1 point (excluding self-nominations).

The max points allowed to receive for submitting a season 3 award is 1 point, even if you submit nominations in other categories

Winning nomination gets an additional point awarded for the win.

Nominations are due by July 14th at 4pm central.

@Xist2Inspire for COTY.

Outside looking in, this team is two players: Kiki and Chambers. How the hell did they make the 5th seed in a conference full of killer teams?

Their next best player is... Bill Hanzlik? Guy no one knows? Yeah, that's that Xist magic. Next best after Hanzlik is probably Dave Corzine who was last year's answer for the Lakers at the 4 spot, but he seems to have boosted this squad a little bit more than he did the Lakers.

I think that's all kudos to Xist. It's a team of 2 stars, a team that cannot inherently be well-rounded, yet Xist has found a way to take his 2 stars into the offseason. Too bad the injuries killed his playoff hopes. This series with the Lakers could have been a fun one with Xist's coaching talents and the Lakers roster of scoring phenoms!
Somehow I manage.

@greepleairport should get coach of the year. GM @greepleairport let him down and didn't pick up a single blue player addition to the parish/malone squad and he was still able to be the 2nd best team in the league this year.

My vote is Mike Lowry he’s a coach who is constantly adjusting his gameplan and DC each sim and when it looked like he was gonna have a bad season at the start, he made the right adjustments to his gameplan and ended up winning the division
