I was going to nominate the Nuggets GM JediHero, but then I took a closer and have to go with the team I have had a crush on all season, Xist2Inspire and the Wizards. Xist took a team that I think no one would have guessed would be in the playoffs before the year started. Now entering the playoffs, I would argue he may be one of the few teams with the ability to give the Pistons a run for his money. This change is due to Xist's gameplanning and ability to make moves to get players that are difference makers. All other GMs are a good choice, but this is the right choice.

My nom is for greeple and the warriors.

He ended the year with 9 guys on his roster for Pete's sake. He's also probably 1 of 2 teams, with PG as their best player. He's been able to do an incredible thing with very mediocre talent, and that's securing a division win and a 2 seed. We all picked the nuggets to win this division going into the final sim. And the warriors shut us up. Tough road ahead with cross but job well done

I'm going to nominate Black Superman of the Suns.
Being commissioner, you're put in a position where you've got to think about the league a lot, but even without commissioner duties, I know Nate put a ton of thought into his team this season and was actively making moves from day 1. He turned Ross Finch into Benny Bridesmaid and Delmer Bricker into A'ja Wilson and then went on to spin those moves into the 4 way trade that is one of two trades that could be trade of the year...bringing in Xue Huo and Scoot Henderson. He brought in a true PG in Markus Ridenhouer. Finally, he went all in and got Victor Wembanyama to really round out the team. Superman didn't take a single sim off from a GM/Coach standpoint and put together a strong team to show for it.

I'll take the obvious nomination, the Pistons. They were far and away the best team this season, and not just because of their record. Here are their ranks in the team categories: 1st in Points per game, 2nd in points allowed per game, 1st in rebounds, 3rd in assists, 1st in steals, 1st in blocks, 3rd in FG%, 5th in 3P%, 2nd in offensive efficiency, 1st in defensive efficiency. 1 loss at home, best road record, and a 28 game win streak while never losing two in a row. Clearly the favorite to win it all and unless an injury takes place, they may just cruise through these playoffs. Doug has done a fantastic job putting together such a dominant team and deserves every bit of praise for it

Pauly and his Pacers.
Pauly has a roster that at first glance you wouldn't assume would have been a powerhouse, but that's exactly what be built for an extended period of time this season. He grabbed a couple of value signings early in free agency (Morelock, Lomax), drafted a guy in the middle of the 1st who contributes (Judge), and made a mid-season trade to add another legit ball handler (Rockwell). It's a big, physical team led by longtime great Herb Jones and budding star Dan Spooner. Best part is, Pauly is soon going to have mostly clean books to build around Spooner any way he wants.

How is anyone overlooking what
@greepleairport has done with the Warriors? He's the clear choice (after me, hehe). This team was 32-50 last year and he's completely flipped that record around and not only made the playoffs, but nearly was the top seed in his conference. Some of the talent was home grown or acquired over the past few seasons, and then there were some additions this season. But his patience and knowledge of how to put together a winner is clear and obvious. This turn around has been great for him, and I'm happy to see his team successful after 4 seasons of missing the playoffs (pretty sure this is guilt from stealing HUB from him and causing his team to spiral)

I nominate the Spurs GM. He's a winner. I'm a huge fan of Jose Alvarado. I wish the Spurs would trade Alvarado to the Cavs. As long as the Spurs stay healthy, I wouldn't be surprised the Spurs win the Championship.
