Bobcats Press Conference

Post by drkavarga »

Hey yo, it’s survey time. Are you here to read about these other teams? Or did you come to read about the B-o-b-c-a-t-s? That’s one more for the good guys. Let’s be real here, this season isn’t going to be a winning one and I know this. I also know we have a ton of money that’s been cut. No need to ask me about that, almost all of it was bad contracts which is well known. Right now my highest contract is $15 million. That’s not that bad. I’ll take the cut money hit this season and next. That’ll give the younger players time to develop and hopefully get something going based around Blair, Chavez, Ramos, and Banks. Banks and Ramos are clearly the future. Game plan is get some pieces and build around them. Hopefully it ends up in a championship at some point in the future. We’ll see but there’s enough young talent on this team that if I get some guys in the next two seasons at C and PG it’s going to be heading in the right direction. Also if any team finishes worse than us that’s not the Jazz their GM should lose all points for Memes or anything else this season. That is all.

I’d say they’re very good. I’ll give them 5-7 games over the Mavs. Mavs might be on autopilot but they’re no joke. Also factoring in the Mavs playing in the same division as the Lakers and the Suns. That’ll add some losses to their total.

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: If the Bobcats were to plan a tribute night for the Iron Sheik, what would that consist of?

We would beat the best team in the league, break their backs getting rebounds, and make them humble after we defeat them! But before that we would ban that jabroni Hulk Hogan from the arena because f*** the Hulk Hogan!

What I’m doing now. It’s the long road to glory but it’s the right one. I would do some contracts last season differently but, overall, everything worked out. Just need to keep a core and build around it.

Desert here again, last question. Are you doing any trainings to assist Chavez ramos or banks into being great players?

Random Reporter: You have a well-earned reputation for going rogue and upending league expectations. Could you give us a peek into your player evaluation process? What do you look for, when looking to add talent to your roster - or subtract?

If I do it’ll be later this season or next season.

I go by the letter grades on the currents. I also like to gamble on future potentials which is basically my entire team right now. Hoping that it pays off.
