S63 League Voting Results!

Post by MexicanMamba »

And the results are in!

Most of these were pretty unanimous, but let's run them down here.

1. Draft Lotto renaming for non-lotto teams.

- For 3 points you will be able to rename players even if you are not in the lotto. You'll link your bank as you do with everything you use points for.

- An additional draft rename change that I'm adding: If the rename you are using is most well-known for anything other than PLAYING basketball, they had to have played AT LEAST Division I basketball in college. So, if you want to use Julius Peppers? He played at UNC so, have at it. If you wanna use Skip Bayless cause he "played" high school ball? No dice.

2. RFA bids dropping from 10 to 5

- Self explanatory.

3. TC Insurance

- No change. Everyone seems happy with things as they are.

4. Player Training

- This was the only vote that was insanely close and came down to one vote. We voted to keep player training as it is (9 to 8), however because it's so tight I may still come up with change ideas in the future to consider.

5. New GM Starting Bank 25 to 50

- Another landslide victory was to give new GMs more points to start with as they adjust to the game. Before implementing the 25 rule a few years ago, GMs simply took over the point bank the previous GM left, often starting with way more than 25 (I started with over 100, for instance). So, while I didn't bring this up until now (didn't wanna sway the vote), I'm going to back date this rule change and let all of the GMs who started after the 25 bank was implemented to take the additional 25 now.

Those teams:

Suns (Black Superman)
Cavs (JLMarines)
Kings (Super Dog)
Pelicans (Mr.A-Tua)
Heat (MikeLowry)
Mavericks (LazyTitan)
Trailblazers (Grovestreetj)
Bucks (Tua Mane)
Nuggets (PandaLove)
Raptors (Pennpanther1)
Hawks (Cashcab)
