Good evening everyone. I am coming to you not from the air like some of my bougie GM bretheren, but from the confines of my own home where I am currently quarantining. Some of you may also be asking yourselves "hey, it's 2048, didn't they get rid of diseases in 2032?" and to that I say "Don't tell me how to live my life."
Anywhoosle. Last season was both a giant success and a giant failure. We started out the season with high hopes. We had gotten the twin towers of Anas and Charles and had AB who was sure to take another step forward. Well, Anas did not develop like we would like, and we did not feel that our team was good enough to do anything of note, so we sold. PAPER HANDS BABY! We sold everyone off that we could for whatever we could get, in the hopes of securing a decent draft pick to secure a future star of our franchise. Alas... we still won too many games because the conference (not our division, and the memes coming from it at least) is terrible. We squeaked into the playoffs and actually gave the Magic a rough time in the opening round. AB and Charles both played very well, and while we considered moving Anas multiple times because of his lack of progress we have AMC diamond hands for him. Going into the offseason, I was not sure what I wanted to do. Did I want to continue this build of super tall friends (Charles tall, Anas really tall, Lough SUUUPER tall) or did we want to just go in another direction. I didn't get to many bites on Anas or my pick, so I decided to keep on keeping on. So I threw max monies at a few forwards in the hopes of getting one. With the first signed contract of the UFA, Guass came to us from the Mavs (sorry if this made them quit...) Anyways, now that we have another competent player on our squad we are feeling good about ourselves. TC was ok I guess. It killed the best center to ever play in PBSL (Winston - oh hey I just realized that I successfully signed all of the 76ers original core that I was super jealous of NOICE). TC also came for Charles, who we were not happy about. Thankfully Anas got better, and we have other bigs who can step up in the event he can't hold his weight. We still may take the opportunity to leverage for younger pieces if it comes, but are happy with the team we got whatever way this goes.
Starting 5?
Johnson
Guass
AB (may swap with Gauss)
Wagers
Charles
Sham Smith, Bulls.com: Do we see any looks for this team with a guy like Gauss or Blakeney running the point? What skills are they missing that have you starting Johnson off the bat?

Where do you rank Blakeney now in the list of purple potentials who are younger than 26?
And if you had to compare your team to an LSU football era what would it be?
So of who I can think of off the top of my head...
Karlo Pearson, Herb Jones, AB, Safi, and Xue Huo
Current:
I would probably rank
AB
Herb
Karlo
Xue
Safi
Future:
Xue
Safi
AB
Herb
Karlo
I'd compare this team to the early 2010s LSU teams, there are very solid players on there that will probably go on and do amazing things, but are still too young to do it now and are a piece or two away from truly competing.

Maybe so. I think the main thing is that Johnson at least has very solid PG skills, while the guards outside of Gauss and AB are probably more of a backup type players. All I really need from the PG I think is passing and OK defense, which I think either Johnson or Hatfield should be able to accomplish.
Random Reporter: Anas has been on and off the trade block ever since he was acquired. In a contract year, what do you need to see from him now to fully convince you that he has a place on your team as you shift your focus towards competing?

At some point yes, that would be ideal given the investment I have put into Gauss. I think the team is pretty strong overall, however I think the Maravich is a tough division this season and it won’t be a cake walk comparatively to the other Omega division.

Honestly, I don’t know. I am going to experiment with him all season probably (both on the court and in trade discussions) to see what will work best.

Let’s talk McAllister and Dudley Carner. Pretty much everyone is for available except AB, and Alleman (Anas would take a lot)
