Bucks Presser in the SKYYYYYYYYYYYY

Post by IamQuailman »

(En Route to Japan, Replies to Questions will be here and there)

Welcome back to another tumultuous off-season with your favorite Milwaukee Bucks!

Last year, as planned, we completely blew the whole thang up. We shipped out pretty much every winning piece on our team (except for Jericho Sims) to opt into a complete rebuild, asset collection, pick stockpile, youth movement. In came Trey Murphy, Dejuan Baker, Thurman James, David Rodriguez... we also got blessed with 3 top 16 picks in this draft including a top 5 pick. But i mean, when's the last time you saw us actually follow through with a long rebuild. We just don't have the patience anymore. We like to think we can... but we just get antsy. So we entered this draft with 9 picks and a plethora of young players to build around... And we entered UFA with exactly 1 pick in the next 3 years and a completely different team. The ONLY player on the roster from the end of last season is some guy named Yancey... WHO? Only reason he's still here is due to me forgetting to list him in the Lakers trade lol

But this off-season has been a return of the OLD BUCKS... Saddiq Bey, COME ON DOWN! Darius Garland, GET YER ASS OVER HERE! Carmelo Williams, WE LITERALLY GOT 2 PICKS AND 10PTS FOR A HALF SEASON RENTAL; THANKS FOR SABOTAGING THE KNICKS! TIME TO COME HOME!

We literally were all over the place though with trades. We traded up a total of 3 time (from 5 to 4 to 3, then 11 to 7). Drafted some incredible players in the process... But that was shortlived. We had a massive triple trades all being coordinated independently of one another. Knicks were eager to dump Melo; so we got him for a Pacers pick that probably will be late teens at worst. We had been discussing some trades with the bulls around our #7 pick, with us getting back Lewis-Weeks & Warley. But all of this depended on getting Bey. We had to fork over a lot of youth, alot of picks, but it was 100% worth it.

But the buck didn't stop there. We had our sights set on one more piece and pushed the remaining available pieces to the table to bring back Darius Garland.

Completely new squad basically, a complete upheaval form last season which was a complete upheaval form the year before. But we are happy with our transactions, as well as bringing in some notable UFAs like Nnaji and other bigs for depth!

This season we want to make a push, and hopefully can give those good for nothing pistons a run for their money.

Any questions?

But seriously, how disappointed are you that none of your offers for Dong Bone worked out?

Should the Pistons be shitting their pants this season? Will you overtake them this season?

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: Sorry for yet another Pistons comparison question, but in what specific areas do you think the Bucks will be better than the Pistons and in what areas do the Pistons have the edge?

Is this year Bey's first MVP year? Who has the best shot to steal it from him? Will you keep him at SF?
Somehow I manage.

Depends… not the verb, the adult diaper. Because YAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS (to both). It is well documented that they are nervous about the happenings in Milwaukee.

I think we are better at the SF position. I think that our roster makeup is very balanced in that the pieces will fit well together. There are some rumblings out of Detroit that Kai Jones is not happy with being dangled and potentially shipped out due to “tax implications”. He feels disrespected (per Chris Haynes). On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks center Nnaji is very happy to be here.

I will give the Pistons credit where it’s due. They have more purple players than us. Can’t beat that.

For the time being Bey will be pursuing his first MVP while playing the 3. I think he has a legitimate shot to win it. League MVP, and Finals MVP. Why not both?

Lopsided Lenny, Toronto Star: Terrance Lewis-Weeks averaged 4.5 assists last season, proving that he has the potential to be a an elite, versatile player—perhaps an MVP candidate one day. What is his favorite color and why is it teal? Additionally, does he have any siblings?

Chet Youbetcha, Dimmadome News: What is the thought process that goes into how you decide to make moves from year to year, flipping between ends of tanking and competing at a minutes notice?

Honestly, it’s just impulsive. Once I see an opening and I’ll go for it and not look back. Well sometimes maybe look back but mostly it’s no regrets these days
