So as Trade Deadline approaches, the Hive is hoping to be quite active of sorts. No player is untouchable (Outside of Artest and Rasheed Wallace and maybe Dennis Scott due to the 60 day rule) But let's make something happen. Veteran players on cheap expiring deals may just be your ticket to push through the middle of the pack with the likes of Laphonso Ellis or David Wesley

Looking for picks/young players. Send me any PM's if interested.

The offseason brings about new hope and attention to the Hive in Charlotte. After reaching the post season for the first time in a few years, I'm hoping we can work some things out. Now, I like the rotation of wing players I have on the team already and am not actively looking to move one piece or another. Rasheed Wallace and Ron Artest remain committed to the ideals of what I'm looking to set as a standard for many years and seasons to come.

Allan Houston, Dennis Scott, Aaron McKie, could all be had depending on the price. Erick Dampier may possibly be around through sign and trade but I'm hoping he likes the young nucleus enough that I'm establishing and wants to stick around for the right price as well.

Primary needs I'm looking for is draft picks (yes, even 2000's and the future) and a Point Guard or two. Resigning David Wesley remains a top priority but I'm always around to talk and discuss and haggle for the right deal. I'm not that hard to contact whether you wanna send out a PM or find me on Skype @ yankeesman77.

Lets make some deals and have some fun.

So 58 wins. Check. A roster that's built for another post season run? Probably check. A roster full of enticing options. Yep. Only untouchable is Artest and probably Steve Smith. I don't need to break it up but would be nice to either trade up in the draft from my current position or acquire some "talent".

Now you may notice the absentee of a certain name....Just because I make him available doesn't mean I'm going to deal him all willy nilly....I do plan on training him before Wednesday and his name is Ron Artest. Of course, Steve Smith, Popeye Jones, and even David Wesley is possible for the right deal. I look forward to all your inquires and talkings about and such if you want to discuss such things.

Why do you plan on trading Artest before Wednesday?

Copy and paste job from the original body of the text and not trading at least right away....I had said and did, train him. Artest like anyone else could be had for the extra right price.

I read it as trading not training. Disregard ;)

Time to get younger so I blew up the Hive...I still have an attractive expiring or two possible but don't take this for granted. If you want to acquire Charlotte's favorite son and think you're a team that can use an All-League Center for your push in 2003, you know what it'll take. I'm open to any and all chats/offers and discussions in general. I want to find the best deal for you and I. But also keep in mind that once day 60 rolls around, I will not deal the prize I just acquired for a player I thought I was going to keep around for a very long time in Ron Artest.

Soooo I'm not a parent and also probably wasn't my parents' favorite son, so I have a question. Are you still the favorite son if you get kicked out of the house on three seperate occasions? BC to me that sounds like more of the kid you hate and want to get rid of. But once again, not a parent myself

He's the best player I've ever had and have gotten to use on a regular basis. He's still an All-League caliber player and will be again in the season ahead. He's accomplished so much as a Hornet and while he's taken trips to other places and destinations, he'll always hold a special place in my heart.

He's the kind of son that was started in Charlotte and went else where and was great everywhere he went and came back on multiple occasions.

Lies and it's all good, Chad. I appreciate it getting bumped up like Louie's classic ones. I just hope it doesn't get deleted also.

So he's they type of son that you conceive, give away. Tell him you love him again, only to leave, then come back and say you love then leave forever and when he does something good without you, you say; that's my son?

Time to get younger so I blew up the Hive...Juwan Howard will get every opportunity in the world to produce at a high rate and come Dec. 15th, will be possible for your team come any aspirations for a playoff run. On a very affordable 3 year deal given his offensive range and talent. I'm open to any and all chats/offers and discussions in general. I want to find the best deal for you and I. But also keep in mind that once day 60 rolls around, there isn't a deal that I would consider stupid. I have cap space but with that space must be packaged with either young talent for future's sake or of course, first round picks.
