This looks like a job for, creating some controversy...because what would press conference chaos be without me? Welcome to another season of Knicks basketball. Now this season we've got our entire core back from last season and we're looking the strongest we have in a long time. Harold Bye, Scot Bulter, and Michael Evan are the trio that is going to lead us into the future. Now I heard all of these haters ripping on the contract we gave Evan. However his future is looking really bright. We also are one of the rare teams that has not one, not two, but three guys who can play the point and it's going to help us out tremendously. McIntyre, Hardy, and Lujan are all going to be a big part of this team's success this season. Jordan, Haun, Hodges, Minter, Simpson, Modestiny, and Leonardo make for a good rotation for us. The players I've brought over the last three seasons fit a system that has shown improvement the last 2 seasons and I think this is the year we make a big push. Chemistry is a big reason for that and the Evan contract, while it might seem inflated now, is why I paid him. I wanted to keep that chemistry going and we're going to look very good over the next few seasons especially with our rotation. There are no weak links in our rotation which is exactly why I set it up the way I did. It's a rotation based system and going by how much the team is improved over last season I think we're going to be a force to be reckoned with going forward. I'm very much looking forward to improving on last season by making the playoffs this season. We finished 8th in the conference last season. This season I'm looking to improve on that.
Sham Smith, Bulls.com: Having 3 PGs is a nice luxury, but there are only so many minutes to go around at the point guard spot. If you had to trade one of them, who would it be, and what position would you look to bolster in return?

Chet Youbetcha, Dimmadome News: do you think Bye will play well enough to earn a Max contract over the summer?

Yes I do. I planned accordingly with the Evan contract because those two work extremely well as a pair so keeping them together is my main priority.

I would trade McIntyre or Hardy because I don't think I'd get offers for Lujan despite the fact he's a scorer. I have Lujan playing SG too to get more minutes because of that so all three will be getting regular minutes in the rotation especially with one of them being the sixth man off the bench. It's all a matter of who works the best with the other four starters.
