Cavs 2038-2039 Preseason Presser

Post by jlmarines »

Welcome to the Cavs Preseason Presser. We are pleased to welcome our new GM jlmarines and his family to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The success jlmarines has sustained over the course of his basketball career puts him on a elite level. jlmarines has the ability to help Cavs reach their potential, both individually and collectively. jlmarines has won everywhere his career has taken. jlmarines brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven winner. The Cavs are pleased to welcome the former juco all-american GM jlmarines to the Cavs family.

GM jlmarines: I want to thank the Cavs for the opportunity to lead a young but talented Cavs team. I am pleased we were able to draft 1st round pick Michael Ojo. Ojo is explosive, finish plays through contact easily, and hang in the air. Ojo footwork and body control is ridiculous outstanding. We were also able trade for key veterans that will help our young team. Derek Hunter and Jarrett Allen brings a wealth of experience to our team. Hunter and Allen will be key mentors to our future star Brandon Boston Jr. Boston is dangerous and ruthless. Boston will shock the league.

GM jlmarines: The Cavs vision is simple. We are building a powerhouse. We are acquiring the permits and materials to build the house. Now is the time to lay the foundation. We are establishing discipline and working habits. We have already pour the concreate to the ground, our next step is to build the
walls and roof. Our future is bright and I can't wait to start winning. Enjoy the process. Go Cavs!

Welcome to the league, jlmarines! Glad to have you here. You made a trade with the Pelicans this offseason that sent the league on fire, a very big splash for a new GM. Are you planning to hang tight with that deal done, or do you think you'll make any other big splashes? Like, what are your thoughts on Luguentz Dort?
Somehow I manage.

Boston is definitely a star in the making, however, who do you think will play the role of sidekick to him this season? Every team needs a reliable #2 (and #3 really) to reach their goals.

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: The basketball fans in city of Cleveland have long suffered as the Cavaliers only made the playoffs once in the past 19 seasons (and seemingly by accident when they limped in with a 35 win season). Do you have a personal goal for how quickly you can return the Cavs to playoff form, and what do you tell your fans the strategy is to do so?

greepleairport: We are here to win. We still have a lot of room to grow. We are not done yet. If we see another opportunity to make our team better, we will not be afraid to make another splash. The Cavs are here to compete. Dort is very talented. However, the Cavs are looking for players that fit our formula of success. We are looking for players such as PG Len Bias. Bias attributes fit the Cavs style of basketball.

MexicanMamba: We believe in Jules Harms. We see Harms and Boston leading the Cavs. Harms is a massive human being. Big man will terrorize opponents in the paint. Harms will absolutely swallow opposing players. Harms will park himself right under the rim on nearly every possession. Big man plays at a high level and we are excited to have him in our team.

Sham Smith: I understand the responsibility that I have. I understand the obligation. I understand I represent the Cavs family. I'm going to work each and everyday to represent the Cavs in a first class fashion. We're going to do things the Cavs way. That's competing to be excellent in practice. We want old school basketball players. It's my job to identify them and remove cancer players. There's no "I" in team.

K-100: I love every aspect of Sim League. When you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. When you play good, the pay is good. Sim League brings all my inner feelings of competition. I can not wait to start winning.

Youbetcha: More than last year. Go Cavs!
