Knicks Preseason Presser

Post by drkavarga »

Guess who's back? Back again. The Knicks are back, tell your friends. We're here for another season of Knicks basketball and this team has a lot of new faces. Stephen Wright is back again as he has been for his entire career. We also have Stephen Woodhouse, Chad Marsh, James Hilburn, Ron Jarvis, and Jerald Alexander among others on the team. Wanderlei Silva is here as well and is a big part of this team. We have a lot of potential this season to exceed expectations. I like what I'm seeing and I feel we can make an impact. That said I'm not expecting the playoffs but I do expect a bunch of upsets by this team. If we can win some upsets then we can get momentum going and make a run at things. However not expecting that. This is a rebuilding year and if I have to make some Day 60 trades to help other teams I will if it nets us some young players and draft picks. That's the plan. We need to think toward the future and that's what the plan is. I think we will do good overall but like I said earlier it's a rebuilding year and I'm treating it as such. No need to exaggerate the expectations when being realistic is a more logical approach.

When do you project you'll be able to pay off your tax so you can go after Free Agents again?

How do you balance your desire for upsets with not hurting your lotto chances too much?

Will you actually answer questions in time to be awarded points this season?

Chet Youbetcha, Dimmadome News:

Do you plan on trading any of your older players for assets to teams competing?

I don't. It all depends on luck and the amount of elite players getting hurt like they do seemingly every season.

Yes. If I can get future picks, points, and rookies I'm down for that.
