GM Quailmen: Well, first off, I would like to say Frye the Nuggets.
*fans cheer loudly, screaming expletives and profanities*
GM Quailmen: Now that we got that out of our system. Last season, while it was a great effort and a great push, was a complete failure. We pushed our all of our chips in to the pot and swung for the fences, racking up a tax bill that the frugal Milwaukee ownership still rides my ass about. We traded away a star in the making in Chester Dangerfield, and in return we got an all-league 3rd team shooting guard who cannot showed his true colors this offseason after literally throwing away the game winning pass in the final seconds of Game 7 down 1-point. Do I sound bitter? Oh I'm bitter. And then that little snake has the gall to go and sign with the Nuggets in Free Agency. GEE ELLE OH ELLE.
*chants of NUCK THE FUGGETS break out in the audience*
GM Quailmen: But what's past us is past us now. And this season we look to the future. We have our cornerstones Justin Rodriquez and Ja Morant locked up long term. We opened up our cap to welcome budding athletic guard Ronald Haile to the fold. Unfortunately, we had to make the tough financial and long term decision to move on from Josh Schumann. It hurts to see him go, and it hurts even more to see him go to Orlando Magic despite their GM and I being great friends... but at least he didn't go to the fcuking Nuggets. And most imporantly, we managed to bring in some new energy to the team that will help us continue our prolonged success as a franchise. This isn't a rebuild; this is a reset. Bringing in the likes of Ferguson Olney and Roderick Pastor through the Schumann trade and drafting another athletic wing in Ronald McGee... it allows us to retool our bench and prime them potentially for star-studded careers in the years to come.
GM: I repeat, this is not rebuild; it's a reset. The Bucks will be gunning again for the Division title (although some tough challenges in the way), and we plan on seeing the Playoffs once again. Hopefully against the Nuggets so we can give them some sweet revenge. This ain't no reverse curse; it's a promise
After pulling off a heist with the Jazz to acquire Brooks Jackson you shipped BJ off to Toronto for John Carter. Was Jackson just insurance in case Ja Morant "Stoll'd" for greener pastures? Or was JC just too good to pass up on as a defensive stud?
Although you don't have Bjorn after the offseason, you also don't have to carry his contract on your books and your tax bill will be significantly lower than you planned. What do you plan to do with these newly saved points?
How do you feel about not only losing to a broken Nuggets in the playoffs but losing Bjorn Ironside to them this past off-season. Seems like they are a bad match up in every form for your bucks squad.
All of your starters scored about the same amount of points per game in preseason. Who's getting the ball down by a bucket with 10 seconds left on the clock?

Brooks Jackson was primed to be our future 6th man or eventual starting SG of the future after Bjorn. However, that was before the Schumann trade to Orlando and bringing in Olney and Pastor, as well as the signing of Haile. So Jackson became the odd man out in terms of long term picture. We needed an upgrade in the bigs and since Jackson was available immediately during the off-season, we had been dangling him out there. AT THE TIME, John Carter was a no brainer swap for me. He was insurance if McRae walks in the offseason and primed to be the defensive anchor of our future. But yea, he decided to drop his anchor in McDonald's during the offseason (and has recently had his rookie option declined as a result).
Regrettable but things like this happen when GMing... it's all about getting ahead of things.

That's very true. Our offer to him was a 1yr 38mil deal. We did not want to invest long-term, out of fear of his athleticism taking a plummet. It didn't. But even if we had offered a 1-yr max, I'm sure the allure of the 3+1 was too good too pass up. Sneks gonna snek.
As for the points... I've already invested quite a bit into Ronald Haile, who we think can be an excellent 2-way player for us. We also have a few trade talks in the works (wink wink).

Depending on the match-up, I think we either look to Ja, Justin, or Conrad to take that shot. Conrad is a problem for many of the leagues bigs, and Justin and Ja both can hurt teams from deep if necessary

You going to try to make a move to solidify your big man rotation after a certain young man's camp performance was less than stellar?

Fans are livid concerning your cheapskate tactics with Bjorn. Do you think his loss will negatively affect you?

You play the Nuggs 5 times this regular season - 3 at home, 2 in Denver. Are you willing to comment on the outcome of this series?
