ACTION: The 76ers trade Clifton Cage, Damontis Sabonis, Edward Simonton, Joseph Baker, the 26th pick of the draft and 10 points to the Hawks for Jason Minter and Carlton Glasser.

REACTION: Was caught off guard by this trade but I like it. Everyone knows LoCo needs to pay off his debt and getting several win now pieces and 10 points is a good deal for him. Cage and Sabonis won't light the world on fire but Sabonis is still a great contributor at C and Cage can help on defense for certain. For the 76ers I'm still not sure what direction they are going. I thought with the previous trades and the trade block updates for a veteran big that the team would start to put together a team that can win it all, but they're only getting younger and traded their only veteran big in Sabonis. I wonder what the end goal is here. The team is filled with top pick talent but it takes time to develop them all. I also believe with this trade and the Bulls trade that sent Domingo McKoy out that the team has ONLY rookie contract players. Insane.

ACTION: The Hawks select Dennis Poisson with the 18th pick.

REACTION: First I thought about the band Poison, then I started calling this play Opossum. Because there's two "s" in his name so it isn't exactly like Poison. Is it pronounced Poy-SAHN, or Poys-son. I don't know but what a terrible rename.

ACTION: The Magic select Gary Almonte with pick 21.

REACTION: The players name reminds me a discussion I had with a coworker about almond milk. Gary likes milk, and almond milk is underrated for coffee. I looked at the player and I can confirm he is a player who was drafted. Back to almond milk, we have it for our coffee. You squeeze a shot of this espresso or something and fill it with a cup of almond milk. It's actually good, unlike the player. But maybe he can be good? Not as good as almond milk in coffee.

ACTION: The Magic select Chester Elbert with pick 23.

REACTION: Back to almond milk, I'm not saying I drink almond milk by itself because it's not that good. I just like it with coffee. Is that so wrong? No.

ACTION: The 76ers select Lorenzo Davis with pick 24.

REACTION: Keeping true to obtaining as many rookie deal guys as he can, keepit100 makes a pro gamer move and selects the only player in the draft where you get 5 of him. Imagine a courted team of Lorenzo Davis!

Hope you guys enjoyed the article of the draft liveblog. Like I mentioned earlier, WigNosy used to do this article almost every offseason and two of my favorite memories are:

1) During one of the liveblogs the draft class was so boring that the liveblog transformed from Wig doing it to the Liveblog liveblogging the draft, which was alter ego Wig just criticizing everything. He ended up running with that for the next few drafts if I'm remembering right.

2) Infamous former-Cavs GM 42 liveblogged Wigs liveblog where he would react to Wig. It was certifiably 42 at his most 42.
