*Bucks GM Ian Quailmen walks up to the podium, gazing up in admiration and back again to the media*
GM Quailmen: Oops, we did it again. We won another title. Shout out to our hard working bannermen, even though this may not be some of their best work. We like to think they were still celebrating during the inception of this banner's design session. Regardless, we are back on top and aren't going anywhere. We ran it back last season, brought back our to big acquisitions from the previous season in Knecht and Baratheon, and made some great runs. Finished with 66 wins in the season... 2nd best record and the only team in our conference to hand the lead-best record Spurs a loss (or 5) in the entire season. Speaking of the Spurs, congrats to San Antonio on their fantastic season; their near record-setting win total was remarkable. They may have shaken things up this off-season, but they will be right back in the thick of things. Perhaps, we will meet again for a rematch in the Finals this season.
GM Quailmen: Back to us and our off season... for the most part, we have brough back our same core, minus a few of our key big men... namely Thomas Knecht, Daniel West, and Aubrey Broomfield. All three contributed fantastically, and we will miss their presence in our lockerroom.. on and off the court. With that said, we brough in some additional players to hopefully shore up our depth down low. Big man Alec Sargeant came back with a new deal. He looks poised to be our starting power forward at this point in time, due to his familiarity with our system. However, it will be an open competition for minutes at that position, along with our reserve big situation. Thomas Ahern and Stefan Rush will look to get some minutes as well. Rui Hachimura was a wing we liked in the draft, and he has shown flashy as a sharpshooter from beyond the arc. Kenrich Williams continues to develop as well. All of these guys could see minutes at the power forward position potentially.
GM Quailmen: Our backcourt big 3 of Joffrey, De'Aaron, and Clifford will continue to wreak havoc on opposing wings. Each of them made major strides in training camp and continue to grow together and individually. With Aubrey Broomfield no longer with us, look for De'Aaron to step into the starting role... no more 6th Man of the Year nominations for him! Maybe MVP...?
GM Quailmen: We are excited about this upcoming season. Since the reshuffle, the level of competition across the board is continuing to improve, and we will need to bring it every game if we are aiming to return to the NBA Finals.
GM Quailmen: Any questions?
