Would like to nominate Jerry West who went from a promising rookie with a lot of holes to a core piece of the best in the West. Offensively, he played over twice the amount of minutes, yet got MORE efficient. Defensively, he averaged almost as many steals/blocks as fouls per game.

I'd like to nominate Erik Haynes who stepped up this season for me.

PPG: 17 -> 24 (7th in the league)
RPG: 8.8 -> 11 (3rd in the league)
BPG: 2.8 -> 4.0 (1st in the league)
PER: 22.1 -> 26.5
EWA: 16.6 ->23.3

* Made All League 1st Team (first time making all league team)
* Made All Defense 1st Team (first time making all defense team)
* Made All Star Game (first time making All Star Team)
* 2 Time Western Player of the Month

With those achievements, he went from a good center with no accolades to 1st Team All NBA.
