Obviously i need to address this. Let's get something out of the way. The Kings GM didn't do anything wrong here. He's under no obligation to monitor the Pelican franchise. Now to the elephant in the room: Nick trading the future pick despite saying he will step down this off-season. Nick and i had a talk about it, and he's had a change of heart. He will put his team on cruise control until he has personal time to join the league again and put the effort he wants into it. Due to Nick owning his team for the future, i see no reason to step in as Commish and use the "basketball reasons" card.
