I have decided to retire. It has been really fun. I have really enjoyed getting to know all the other GMs. Maybe some day I will come back but for right now there are other things to which I need to devote time. I leave a parting gift. I simulated training camp 50 times again this season. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing It looks like all 3s and a 10 is the best for the over 30 crowd. For young players with tons of potential you can achieve very consistent good results in certain areas with lots of unmet potential but you have to kind of poke a little bit to see which area the game will let the player grow in. Going a full 10 in these areas does seem to yield better results in the area with the 10 but worse results over all. Thanks to Tani for recommending this research.
