Moving Coordinator elections to Post season

Post by IamQuailman »

Fresh off-season, fresh start for volunteers. Timing is just better, esp with other deadlines to worry about during the offseason.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure why we didn't do this in the first place.

I thought we did it in the off-season because that's when everyone is logging in for the draft, RFA and UFA. In the post-season it's usually dead and if I'm not in it I don't get on as much as compared to off-season.

Well the participation was so wide-spread this offseason, I don't think this needs to change.

Participation in voting over last few seasons:

2015: 8-10
2016: no elections
2017: 10 for media coordinator; 16 for election coordinator
2018: 12
2019: 14-16
2020: 10-12

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah I don't see how moving the elections hurts. Only once recently have we gotten half the league to vote.
