Word out of Portland is that Derrick Rose has demanded that the organization surround him with better talent or let him walk and that most likely he's going to walk no matter what they do. Some have said Rose even told management "my back is sore from carrying you all for so long."
Teams with stars hitting Free Agency are running scared of the Phoenix Suns. One anonymous Western Conference GM told us, "they literally have Kevin Love and cap space. They're either going to hit it out of the park and add superstars around him, or they're going to fall on their face and Love is going to force his way out."
Celtics faithful are optimistic about the off-season despite the recent RFA tax debacle. Green nation paid off their tax and have been quietly bringing in players to try to build a team around John Wall. A source close to the Celtics told me, "all we need is a good big man and nobody has a track record with bigs like Conroy. There are a lot of really good bigs. He'll find us the guy that will give us the high-low combo. And I shouldn't name names, but Deandre Jordan was reportedly very impressed with Conroy's pitch."
Late-breaking news: the Lakers just paid off their luxury tax bill. With $34 million in cap space and their young studs coming up for RFA starting next year, the Lakers clearly know their window to add talent in free agency is closing fast. Lakers offers are rumored to be "very aggressive" from those in the know as they try to climb the ladder in the West.
After watching all the top-flight Free Agents sign with other teams, we hear that Love is extremely unhappy. But it's starting to leak out that maybe the reason players didn't sign in Phoenix... was Love. "He's a prima donna who wants credit when his team wins but any time they lose it's always somebody else's fault."
The Jazz seem pretty content with what they've been able to accomplish this off-season, but they still have room for improvement. One GM was quoted as saying, 'I'm sure glad I'm not in his shoes right now.'"
Rajon Rondo wants out of Vancouver very badly. He's told his agent to pursue any and all available trades, citing a need to be the biggest star on whichever team he's on.
Will Dec. 15, 2016, finally be the day the Lebron James era ends in Miami? James and Heat have been much at odds since last seasons Eastern Conference Finals exit. When asked for comment, Lebron only had this to say...
"I just wanna win man. I was thrown off by Goran and Serge leaving in the offseason. I've always been a team oriented guy and if this team has given up on me, I don't wanna be here. I wanna win and win the title. End of story."
I'm being told that Jeffrey Duren is not happy in Sacramento. "When an organization tells you you're their franchise star, that they want to build around you, that's special to me. I wanted that. But to not play me, and to trade for Derrick Rose? I'm beyond frustrated." Sources say Duren hasn't demanded a trade, but the team is aware of the player's concerns.
Word is quickly getting around the league that Kyrie Irving had to be escorted from a strip club last night after he was seen hurling loose change at the dancers. When confronted, Irving claimed that he was "just trying to get his money's worth" and that he was trying to "make it rain." Following a formal apology from the star shooting guard, Kyrie offered to pay for the cost of their reconstructive cosmetic surgeries. Lesson learned? Don't be so cheap at the club, Kyrie.
Videos broke on Instragram this morning of Otto Porter, CJ McCullom, Nerlens Noel, and Rudy Gobert were spotted in a Phoenix night club, spraying strippers and club goers alike with top-shelf bottles of champagne. Videos caught them chanting "4 More Years!" and "We are the Champs!" There is no news of league investigating this incident as a sign of tampering by the Suns organization, but if caught, we could see the most severe punishment in league history handed down from the commissioner's office.
Hollis Thompson is desperate to escape from Milwaukee. His agent's wife has been working the phones to any general managers' wife willing to listen, chatting about how nice a person Hollis is and how pleasant he would be to add to a community.

I didn’t write this but this but I definitely agree
Rumors are circulating that GMs are trying to vote out Lakers GM, TrayWithAnA
It all has to do with “Article VIII of the SLOe’s Constitution & Bylaws,” apparently, specifically a section that allows the commissioner to force owners who are “guilty of conduct detrimental to the welfare of the League" to forfeit their teams.
Sources around the league are informing me that Don Houghton, a highly-touted prospect in the upcoming draft, was seen leaving a Taylor Swift concert with tears rolling down his cheeks last night. When confronted by members of the press, he sighed and stated, "Listen, I'm just a really, really big Taylor Swift fan. I'd appreciate it if you didn't report this."
Reporters around the league are baffled about the latest exposé targeting Lakers GM TrayWithAnA, with many pointing fingers at GMs such as "Mike." Who's "Mike", might you ask? Many believe it to be somebody in the Central Division.
More on "Mike": While initial reports indicated that he took up residence in the Central Division, others have hinted that his true identity runs freely in the Pacific. The manhunt continues... #Mike
After losing out to Joseph Kight in the race for 'Rookie Of The Year,' Ben Simmons claims he doesn't plan on proving any points in the playoffs. "Forget the 'Rookie Of The Year' award," he was quoted as saying. "I have my eyes on the real prize: The PBSL Finals." Mic drop.
Hearing that despite what every GM in the league believes, John Wall IS actually gettable thru a S&T. Sources say that GM Darth Vegito exploring many many options this off-season.
Word is quickly getting around the league that LeBron James is in fact interested in joining Rudy Gay and Chris Paul on the Miami Heat. But will the Heat make an offer?
