Suggestions for Takin’ it SLOE topics

Post by WigNosy »

I plan to record Episode 4 after Friday’s sim. Topics I will definitely cover include playoff matchups and the draft class. What other topics would you like to hear about? I will cover what I can in Episode 4 and stuff I don’t get to in Episode 4 will be gotten to in future episodes.

Topics I'd like to see covered:

Upcoming RFA's - Pick a player who is going to get overpaid compared to his production so far and a player who is going to be underpaid compared to his production.

Race for the 8 seeds - The Nets, Cavs and Heat are within 3 games of each other for the #8 seed in the East with 9-10 games left. The Nuggets and the Pelicans are a game and a half apart with 9-10 to play. Who grabs the last spots?

Feeling a bit drafty - Of the projected top 4 teams in the draft, 3 (Raptors, Celtics, Blazers) already have their SG of the present/future. If any of those three win the James Galarza lottery, is there better value for them to try to drop back a few picks (assuming there's a willing trade partner), grab one of the MANY highly-rated PG prospects and maybe grab an extra pick for next year?

Limited resources - In what appears to be a relatively weak class at the C and PF positions, does the limited number of high-end bigs in the draft cause a team to pick Jamey Brown ahead of a blue potential PG or SG?

Take a look in your crystal ball- what will the league be like when all the players are "fake" players?

Stamina/Personal Foul Rating floors - should we set an absolute minimum and adjust players to meet that minimum (i.e new o/purple player coming in the draft has a PFR of 6, if we created a baseline of (for example) 20, he would be bumped to that).
