Bump all Draft File players with sub-50 Stamina to 50

Post by IamQuailman »

Stamina is one of those barely moves in TC attributes that was never much of an issue coming in. We had guys in their 50s-60s here and there, but nothing too bad. However, with the new draft import system, we are seeing more and more players coming in with 20-30 stamina... and it would take their entire career to potentially reach 50 organically.

Holy shit, you might as well not even draft them then, unless you're looking for a bench player with very limited playing time.

Have we ever seen the results of low stamina in the game, or have we never played guys with such low stamina?

To piggyback on JNR's question, do we know what stamina affects and the impact of much lower stamina compared to the average? The low stamina is alarming when I first see it but I can't say for certain how significantly it affects players.

Bump for more discussion:

One thing I would like to point out about stamina.

I just looked at all of the Pro game draft class. There are over 30 players with yellow or better potential. Of those players, THREE (3) have sub-50 Stamina (two are r/y, one is o/y). Let's peel the onion back a layer... 50-59 range has THREE. TEN have 60-69 rand. The rest is 70 and above. This is a fundamental flaw between the imported draft classes vs the pro game generated draft classes.

I'm not saying scrap the college game necessarily (although this is year 2 in a row where we have what looks like a very deep class in the auto generated game draft), but I think that this is something we definitely need to continue to monitor and watch. Do we have any previous saves from prior seasons where the non-imported draft class has not been loaded yet so we can compare?

Contrarily, out of this past college draft class (looking only at yellow potential or better... 52 players):

<50 STA = 11 players (4 of which are below 40... also 1 blue, 5 green)
50-59 STA = 7 players (2 green)
60-69 STA = 12 players (1 blue, 2 green)

50-59 range has 2 greens, 1 blue
60-69 has 2 greens, 2 blues

just for comparison's sake
