The team receiving a higher salary in a trade must either be able to fit the contract under the cap or be taking back no more than 125% of the salary they are sending out. Draft picks have a salary value of $0. Obviously, Jordan's salary is not within 25% of Peacock's salary so this must fit under the cap. The Spurs have $26,070,847 in cap space and Peacock's salary is $2,354,960 - that total is $28,425,807. Jordan's salary is $29,629,586 so this does not fit under the cap (the Spurs need to shed an additional $1,203,779 in salary to make it legal). As this trade is not legal, it has NOT been processed.
