I'll admit that I wasn't around when this was implemented, so there may be reasons behind it I don't understand, but with points seemingly becoming more important (tax) and also less valuable PER point (market inflation), can we do away with this and/or modify the 10 point restriction to say 25?
I was just musing on how many points Klay would be worth straight-up. I don't necessarily see a huge reason why there IS a 10-point limit except to protect newbies from getting really traped, but I don't think that's as much a concern with the group of GMs we have, and it's not like getting traped on points is going to worse than getting traped for players.
Anyway, just a suggestion. Curious to hear thoughts...
