All-league players/purples can train current ratings

Post by WigNosy »

I should note before starting this would benefit me with Draymond. But I will propose it anyway.

I propose we allow training of current ratings up to their potential regardless of whether a player is all-league or purple potential. Athletic trainings and potential ratings may NOT be raised - so the player doesn't become a bigger monster, he's just able to get to his monster potential faster (or at all, we have seen some purple potential guys never make it to purple current).

Alternate suggestion, other teams can pay points to make purple players worse.

I am not for training purple potential players or all leaguers because if the player is in one of those categories, chances are he is already a star player and in the elite conversation.

I've never liked the idea of creating super players. I know the computer has generated a few thanks to training camps (Love, Durant, McGrady, and Kemp spring to mind), which is fine we deal with the randomness there. Manually doing so only compounds talent disparity caused by some teams randomly receiving good training camps while others receive an absolute thrashing by training camp.

What do you have against Hassan Whiteside?
I still got all my fingers but somewhere I lost my mind.
