Warriors get 10 points and 2 second rounders. Nets get the 4th player in the draft (by a large distance).
I gave the Nets an A because they fulfilled my draft prediction article. Th get A very coveted position at PG with the pick who can pass and defend. Think Ricky Rubio lite.
The Warriors could have done a lot better here. They only move down two spots but needed a PG and get a lesser talent
This is a really tough trade to make and is a bit bittersweet. Gay brought a lot to our team, and we as an organization are very grateful. However, we also have to worry about sustainability. And his contract and our current lux tax situation, we want to make a move that is best for our long term.
Bucks accept.
Warriors B+
Buck D
You know it's a one sided trade when a team has to post it's rationale with the acceptance.
Warriors get a B because they get a top 5 player for 3 Backups.
Bucks take a huge step backwards in losing Gay and really dont get much potential in return. It also stings that they traded now Purple potential Draymond Green for Gay. A season ago. I think the Bucks will be fine though. Kanter i think is going to grow into a monster for them.
I accept. It was a pleasure dealing with you man, thanks for your patience. Best of luck to you!
Magic B
Wizards C
Magic get a very good player for a 1 way guy. They win the talent battle in the deal which gives them a B, but you have to wonder what they're doing w the team. I'm sure the career 36% winning GM has a plan.
Wizards seem to have gotten a 6th man for one of the leagues most intriguing talents just at 26. You have to think if they were patient they would have gotten at least a 2 way foundational player.
Kings with a super classy move, but I'm not sure how i feel about the spurs accepting it. I get it, it's shrewd , and Eazy is a great guy; but i think the Kings made an honest mistake and a sorry was ok. In the end, if they're both happy .. all's well that ends well
