I nominate Russell Weakbrook

2014 averages

ppg. - 20.9
rebounds per game - 6.6
assists per game - 7.7
steals per game - 2.3
PER 24.4
Strength - 51
total triple doubles - 3

2015 averages

ppg. - 24.6
rebounds per game - 8.4
assists per game - 10
steals per game - 2.6
PER - 26.2
Strength - 52

total triple doubles - 22 (Most triple doubles in a single SLOE season)

Russell Weakbrook almost averaged a triple double this season. Last year he wasn't close to averaging a triple double.

Klay Thompson should win this award going away.

In 3.5 less minutes per game, he increased his scoring by 4ppg, reduced his fouls, and upped his usage by 7.5% while still being as efficient which resulted in an increase in PER from 20.6->27.0

To put it another way:
