2014-2015 #SLOE Pick 'Em - Sim 12 - THE FINAL SIM

It's the FINAL PICK 'EM of the season, and this one is for all the marbles! This time, everybody who plays has the opportunity to either help or harm their division. I wanted to get this one up one day early, so you still have time to get your picks in for Pick 'Em Sim 11, but with the expedited timetable on Sim 12, the complex nature of this sim vegas, and my schedule tomorrow (won't be home until way late), it would've been tight to try to get your picks in with less than 24 hours to do so.

The rules are very important to follow this time, so please read thoroughly.

I'm giving everyone $2500 to bet with. You're betting on the games on the last day of the regular season, here they are:

The minimum you can bet on a game is $100 and the maximum you can bet on a game is $500. However, you have to bet on AT LEAST 10 GAMES. You don't have to bet all $2500 (so you have to bet a minimum of $1000 across at least 10 games). You can bet on more games if you like, but the betting minimum stays the same.

If you don't follow these rules, you will lose all the money you put down, even if it's over $2500, and you will be kicked out of Sim Vegas for being Sim drunk.

Now, here's the rub. if you get the game right, you win the money you put down on it. If you get the game wrong, you LOSE that money. If you don't bet all $2500, the money you don't bet does NOT count towards your score.

Now, here's why EVERYONE should participate. Instead of the BEST score from each division counting towards the winning, the TOTAL winnings from everyone in your division gets added to your division's prize pool. Since you can lose money, it's altogether possible that everyone in your division does poorly that you could end with LESS money in your division's final cash total than before this Pick 'Em.

So, for example, if the Example Division is going into this sim with $5000, and Example GM 1 wins $2000, but Example GM2 loses $2500, the Example Division's final 2014-2015 Sim Vegas earnings will be $4500.

As always, EVERYONE can AND SHOULD play this week. Also, you'll get points at the end of the season for having good attendance. Here's how the participation points break down.

Participate in 11+ Pick 'Ems: 5 points
Participate in 10 Pick 'Ems: 4 points
Participate in 9 Pick 'Ems: 3 points
Participate in 8 Pick 'Ems: 2 points
Participate in 7 Pick 'Ems: 1 point
Participate in 6 or fewer Pick 'Ems: No soup for you

Furthermore, if your division has the most cash at the end of Pick 'Em, you get 5 points...UNLESS YOU DON'T PARTICIPATE IN ANY PICK 'EMS. Here's the standings after week 11.

4th Place: Midwest - $2050
3rd Place: Pacific - $2950
2nd Place: Atlantic - $6000
1st Place: Central - $8500
