If Proposition 1 fails, this will be ignored.
You are voting for how much of the salary cap will be available to the expansion team in its inaugural seasons. Voting will be figured in "instant runoff" format as follows:
If the first option (66% of the cap year 1, 75% of the cap in year 2) does not receive a majority of votes, it will be eliminated from consideration and its votes added to the next option below it (75% of the cap in year 1, 75% of the cap in year 2). If, after this process is complete, 75%/75% does not have a majority of votes, it will be eliminated from consideration and its votes added to the next option below it (75%/100%). If this does not have a majority of votes (includes a tie), then the expansion team will have 100% of the cap available to it from day 1.
Note this will be accomplished by adding "cut salary" equal to 33% or 25% of the cap to the team in the appropriate year(s).
