Can't deal em for 60 days into the regular season bud. But good luck with them on your roster.

Since Peeler was a re-sign he can be traded immediately. The 60 day rule applies only to players who change teams.

Ah, good to know. I thought that once any free agent whether he was resigning or not had to waitr 60 days first before getting dealt.

Actually, if we are following with how sign-and-trades have been historically handled throughout this league, Sign-And-Trades need to be agreed to and posted right after the FA sim occurs (if the signing of player occurs). This has been the case for the longest time (Sign and Trade of Ewing from Pacers to Mavs, Sign and Trade of Mike Izzuolino from Bucks to Sonics, Ron Harper from Warriors to Sixers, etc).

From 1997 FA Thread on the old forums, per Darth:

"Also any "sign and trades" agreed upon between two GMs need to be posted immediately after the FA is signed. They should be posted as normal trades. Remember, these FA WILL hit your cap until you've traded them. Please keep this in mind."

So neither Peeler or Phills will be available until Dec 15.
