Bulls Trade Block

Post by WigNosy »

The stewards of the Bulls would like to make it known that Manu Ginobili and Nick Young are on the trade block. This team as currently constituted is clearly not in position to contend for a playoff berth so changes must be made. All offers for these players will be considered, individually or as a package.

Send offers to Wig.

Bulls cautiously considering offers on Hayward or Gallinari if upside apparent.

Need points for your rooks? Got a few million in cap space to spare? The Chicago Bulls are actively shopping The Candy Man, Lamar Odom, and a negotiable amount of points to any team with a cheap, functional backup SG or combo guard on a short contract.

With the 2013 season coming up, the Chicago Bulls would like to announce that they are taking offseason offers on:

Paul Millsap (if he resigns)
Gordon Hayward

While we'll also be listening to offers on anyone else available, we should note that Harden will not be available after we resign him in RFA, so please don't come to me this season with garbage offers for him. I'll also say that for his extremely low contract, any offers involving Gallinari will have to be incredibly beneficial to us.

Hayward has been traded.

Millsap is still available. Could go a few different directions with a deal. In no rush to move unless picks are involved.

Not looking to make a major move unless it's clearly a good deal for me, BUT...

Larry Sanders is available. If you've got a use for him and have some vet mins I can dump upon reception, hit me up. Otherwise, he's going to be dished off with points to a team with cap room.

Looking to get some win sooner than later pieces.

My #5 pick is available. Alone, it'd take great value talent at the PG or PF positions.

Would prefer to package the #5 pick with Dwight Howard to get several solid pieces back. Dwight would open up more options in terms of salary I could take in.

In essence, the #5 pick is still on the block, but it will now be known as Gary Harris.

The #23 pick may also be available for points if you're interested depending on how I'm feeling when you offer me said points.

Interested in a Millsap S&T? Nice PF for a killer price. If you have the space, might trade for the right combo of picks and points...otherwise, SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT

Millsap still available. Looking for either someone at SF/SG who can D it up or a future starting PG. Given my team's ranking right now, asking price is a little higher than during the offseason.

Rashard Lewis and Travis Outlaw available for a point a piece.

Trey Burke available for a point or a 2nd round pick.

PRICED TO MOVE:
Paul Millsap

PRETTY MUCH UNTOUCHABLE:
James Harden
Danilo Gallinari

Everyone else is available if the deal is even.

Looking for: Picks, Points, a big man who can score, a 2/3 who can defend, and/or a little bit of cap space alleviation. Also, would consider packaging Beverley for an upgrade at the 1

In addition to Paul Millsap, entertaining offers on a Sessions S&T as well. Ideally would like to either piece Millsap and Sessions together for a better piece or get cheaper at those positions with serviceable replacements, but I'm happy to keep my team exactly the same and run it again, too.

In lieu of not wanting to pay 55 points on tax, considering hearing out offers on Harden that A) Set me up with some young talent / picks, and B) Reduce my cap by a worthwhile amount. Just seeing what's out there before I decide to spend points on buffing up Harden by training deadline.

PAUL MILLSAP AND RAMON SESSIONS

Looking more aggressively to move both Paul Millsap and Ramon Sessions, and I'm looking for the best deal for either one of them by Friday's sim. Here's the bare minimum of what I'd need for either one of them:

PAUL MILLSAP
1. Vet mins (or near vet mins) to match salary. Must be 1 year unless it's a player that strangely intrigues me. This trade requires you to put up $9,166,667.20 if you're over the cap.

RAMON SESSIONS
1. Someone who can play a quarter as a serviceable bench PG at a fraction of Sessions' contract. Must not be utter garbage at passing, must still have some tread left on their tires.
2. Vet mins (or near vet mins) to match salary. Must be 1 year unless it's a player that strangely intrigues me. This trade requires 8,988,650.40 if you're over the cap.

I don't expect anything else TOO valuable, but here are the surefire ways (in order of surefireness) to secure a piece to bolster your contending team:
1. 1st round pick (Hey, you're a contender...or you've stockpiled a contender's pick) - this is like the eBay Buy It Now option
2. Points (Mo' points = mo' better)
3. 2nd round pick (It's something, right?)

Furthermore, I might be able to drop a lot of salary on one guy which will de-prioritize losing so much salary from the other guy, so try packaging your Adam Morrison-like contracts with any of the above surefire ways, and Ramon Sessions or Paul Millsap COULD. BE. YOURS. (For the right young player, I might even give YOU points or something)

I'm actively shopping to teams that look like suitable candidates for trade, but hit me up if you're interested and I haven't hit you up.

Post-Millsap update:

Ramon Sessions is still tentatively on the block, but I might be a little pickier now that I'll be owing 20 fewer points following the Millsap deal.

Brandan Wright is probably available for the right amount of points.

Other than that, keep an eye on the Bulls record...if we take a bigger step back than anticipated without Harden, I'll be opening my ears to offers on my expiring contracts. Overall, I probably will want a sim or two to gauge though. If the sky falls, Oladipo, LaVine, and Beverley will likely be sticking around no matter what.

Bump!

Strike out in UFA Round 1? I need to get under the cap, so this could be your chance to lock in one of the leagues premier scorers if you have cap room.
