Mike Dunleavy is the 6th man for the Miami Heat. What he brings to this team is immense: the deep ball. As the really only viable option from the outside for the Heat, Dunleavy automatically stretches the floor creating lanes for the likes of Lebron and Iggy to drive and dish. Mike's versatility has been key to driving this team to the playoffs. Dunleavy has been seen playing at both the small forward and power forward positions. He is the only person on this team that can claim to have played both spots this season. His numbers are not glaring as he is the epitome of a role player, but with over a 10 minutes per game dip, his points per game only dropped by 4. However, his FG%, 3PT%, and EFG% all went up while he has dropped his minutes. This means that Mike is making his shots count more often than he did with more opportunities. The most telling stat may be the increase of his EWA in proportion to his drop in minutes.

Others may score more points, but no one else compares to the true nature of the verstile 6th man that Mr. Dunleavy brings day in and day out.
