New Rules for 99-00 Season

The results from the 98-99 Proposition Voting are as follows:

Proposition #1: Allow trading injured players?
- Yes – 19
- No – 0
Proposition #2: Should the legal roster size be set to minimum of 13 players (regular season max = 15)?
- Yes – 9
- No – 10
Proposition #3: Should we allow the use of option years in Free Agency?
- Yes, both Team and Player Options – 11
- Yes, but only Team Options – 7
- Yes, but only Player Options – 0
- No – 1
Proposition #4: Should trades be allowed during the RFA period of the off-season? (Excludes RFA-related S&Ts)
- Yes – 2
- No – 17
Proposition #5: Should we implement a new point system? (details to be vetted out during 99-00 season)
- Yes – 16
- No – 3

These rules will go into effect for the 99-00 season (effective immediately). Thank you for your participation!

If they are effectively immediately we may need to hash some of these out quickly.

This was explained in the initial suggestion post. An option year may only be offered as the final year of a multi year deal.

Aside from Prop #5 (which the specifics will be discussed in detail this season) which one requires more explanation? As wig mentioned above, Team or Player options will only be eligible for the last year of the contract (not multiple).
