I understand wanting and am 100% for a uniform time but would prefer to push it back to 7 or 8. But just because I'm selfish and am usually very busy at 5.
I still got all my fingers but somewhere I lost my mind.
I have no problem with a 5 pm deadline, just don't like the calls and sims at 5 because I am unavailable. But the deadline can be whenever but we must pick a time and we MUST stick to it.

I like the playoffs being later since it's every day. If someone has a 12 hour shift where they can't use a computer it really makes this game a burden to get in a DC, and that's not something I ever want. I really like giving people who zone in on their DCs in the playoffs be able to zone in on their DCs because it should be so important.
Currently, deadlines are 5pm CST for all regular season sims. I'm cool with that. I think 8pm is fair for playoffs as a deadline. If the sim happens earlier because all DCs are in, we can sim earlier. But that will not move up the deadline for the next sim from the next day at 8pm. As for the offseason, I'm fine with having all 5pm Deadlines with that.
So my counter:
Offseason (RFA everything, FA bids, TCs) = 5PM
Regular Season = 5PM (except trade deadline sim)
Trade Deadline Reg Season Sim = 5:15PM (Trade Deadline 5PM)
Post Season (Round 1 Game 1 through Finals) = 8PM (Finals can be negotiable if both teams submit DCs early and want to sim ahead)
I also propose a dead day (at least 24 hrs) inbetween Finals conclusion and Draft Lottery. It would be nice for a) a break for inputters/league to step back and breathe, b) get a good draft lotto set up by whoever is running it, and c) allows us to set an official start time for new season.
