The owner of the Seattle Supersonics, Micheal Stevenson, is about to address the media and millions of fans.

Stevenson: Welcome everyone. Let me first say that I ask you hold off on any questions until I am finished. I know there have been MANY of rumors and questions in and around this organization and about it's future and I will clear every single one of them up. This has been some of the most trying years I have seen since owning this franchise. This team was going nowhere until I saw an opportunity to hire one of the smartest and most brilliant NBA GMs there is. And we all know who that was...Darth Vegito. Now I know he is not liked very much right now in Seattle and throughout the league, but let me tell you a few things. Darth is one of the most competitive GMs I've ever seen and when I hired him I asked him to do the impossible. I was tired of having a losing franchise, the fans deserved better. I told Darth I wanted to win ASAP, in other words NOW. He took that challenge, flipped some young guys and put together two back to back 50 wins seasons IMMEDIATELY after being hired.

Yes, the post-season didn't go our way and I regret asking him to do that rather than building the right way. So we put ourselves in a bad spot and Darth has been working tirelessly to build this team the right way and build a TRUE contender. Nearly every trade he's made over the past 3 years have netted us points so that we can train our young guys. He's built up our points pool and tried everything to develop these guys. But as you all know, development has been a DISASTER to say the least. We had some young guys who had nice promise. They were destroyed during TC and are merely back of the group rotation guys now. We only now have two players to have hope in, Rondo and Roy. We are doing daily positivity trainings with them in order that they don't lose their way like the others did. With that being said, we MUST hold Darth accountable for his part in this.

I am NOT firing Darth Vegito. He WILL be put on a leave of absence for the time being. Why am I not firing him? This is why:

He brought this with him when I hired him. He stole these from the Dallas Mavericks front office. He said he earned them so he took them with him when he came here and he used these trophies to fuel his want and need for more. I look upon these trophies often as well. HE will be the one to bring one of those trophies to this franchise. I feel that no other GM is better qualified do to that. He is a basketball genius. But with that genius comes other things and he is simply burnt out. The other day I found him sleeping in our boiler room.

As you can see he didn't look too good. He needs this time off. So, with that being out of the way, you will ask whom I will appoint to his role for the time being. I am basically appointing myself. I will be running day to day operations as well as making any and all roster and personnel moves. I WILL though, be appointing a figurehead that will address the media and serve as my voice while Darth is out. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Pedro!
