Long time Sixers' project Luis Scola is about to get PAID. Scola has received multiple max offers but he hasn't heard from GM Balls O'Hard yet. It is unlikely the thrifty Balls will match a max offer. Scola told me recently, "I don't know where I'll be next season but I do know I'll be getting paid what I'm worth."

In a conflicting report, GM Balls O'Hard commented that the organization will do everything in its power to retain Luis Scola. He mentioned that he is prepared to match any offer on the table, big or small.

Outside Gms feels they has absolute leverage in any offer for either of the Sixers' RFAs because it is rumored that many GMs have put a trade embargo on their respective organizations, forbidding them from trading with the Sixers for fear of a trape deal. If they were to lift the embargo, GMs feel that O'Hard is incredibly thirsty and more than likely to bend over to a be on the receiving end of a trape deal this time.

Bucks GM Ian Quailman was spotted at a Milwaukee bar this morning, surrounded by a pile of Miller cans. When asked by reporters why he was so depressed, he became angry, "Another season with 2 power forwards and now I get to overpay both of them! I'm stuck with Samaki! I want him gone! I should never have traded Yao!"

Word is making the rounds through various camps that the Portland Trailblazers are very determined to bring back Mike Dunleavy at whatever the cost. They value his effort and jump shooting abilities as well as his friendly attitude. With only two people on the roster currently and two other RFA's in question, the GM is going to have some tough financial decisions to render over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Sources needs to check with Dictionaries and Thesauri.

That's right... Latin plural for your asses. Straight Fryeing class.
There's no "I" in team, but you can find "Eat me" if you push it too far.

A well connected source in Memphis told me that Boston is in the sign and trade market. They've been looking for an elite wing for years and the only one openly available is Larry Hughes in LA. We're not told if Terry or Francis will be the main salary piece in this deal or if this is the whole deal and/or if firsts will or won't be included.

GMs around the league are getting frustrated as the trade deadline approaches. One Western Conference GM I spoke to said, "it seems like the only players teams are willing to part with are over-the-hill players on huge contracts and they want a king's ransom for these guys rather than accepting that their true value is negative... you'd have to pay ME to take them!"

Scuttlebutt from agents during the RFA Moratorium suggests that Zaza Pachulia saw even more bids thrown his way than the "big four" of Lebron, Wade, Melo, and Bosh - maybe teams knew those players weren't going anywhere and didn't bother?

Sources close to Seattle HQ can all but 99% confirm that Granger is being packaged to the Milwaukee Bucks after round one of UFA, dependent on neither team spending too much to where salariea cause the trade to become inelligible.

One league official had guaranteed me the Jamison will be on the move. He added "you know Nick Malone, can't go two months without blowing up his squad.

Sources say Antawn Jamison has received at least 8 max bids. Calls for comment to the Hornets' offices on whether they are nervous about their ability to resign him were not met with comment.

Bucks' GM Ian Quailman has been busy over the last couple of days. He has been spotted leaving the Rose residence and out for drinks with Shaq. It has been an open secret for weeks now that Quail is trying to reunite Shaq and Jalen in Milwaukee on vet mins.

The market for reputed locker room killer, Dirk Nowitzki has been ICE cold. Don't be surprised if he holds out for round two.

What are the Suns going to do? They've been over achieving for years, locked in to sort playoff trips but now they have a ton of cap room and a chance to rebuild. Rumor has it they will be taking a year off and trying to reset around a lotto pick.

Hornets basketball is in a state of flux. With rival GM Darth outing them as putting a supermax on Jamison, all the other GMs are wondering where the market is for the S&T. Most view this as a panic move to not lose Jefferson for a futile 1 year run. .

Unless Booth loves getting paid 1/3rd of his worth, he will be looking for residence in another state.

Talked to a Kings insider regarding their FA. She says they're committed to following the process of the reset and are officially in phase 2.

Houston Rockets were offically denied a new stadium by the league. The hang up was in the dollars. With the Rockets already in the red due to unadvised spending on players, the league wanted to see the Rockets sustain a profit before they would agree to send more funds their way.
