Commissioner Announcement

At the end of this season, I will be resigning as commissioner of PSBL. Up until this season, things have moved relatively smoothly throughout, like a well-oiled machine. However, this season has been a shit stain on what I would have called a pretty decent and clean pair of tighty-whiteys, and I can only blame myself for not having the full energy and time to put into running this league as it should. Between work, my wife and I expecting our first child, and working on a side project/business, I don't know if I can fully commit the time and energy necessary to make sure the league is operating as it should. Thank you everyone for all the fun it's been under my tenure, and I look forward to more seasons of fun under the next Commissioner's regime (I'm not resigning as Bucks GM). I will continue to input throughout the playoffs; however, I will defer pressing the "sim day" button to Wig to maintain fairness (as well as a means to cover my ass so I don't get accused of cheating to win).

If you are interested in being commissioner, please let me know. You won't be alone, but I will work with you in an advisory role if you wish.

Do not worry about this league ending; it will not. A solution is in the works.

Damn. You did great Quail and so did Darth before you. But like you said if there are other things in your life that might even potentially limit your job as the commish you need to step down. There are plenty of capable guys here that I will feel completely comfortable with if they become commish

Everything gonna be good. I know the weight that Doug has had, add that to him having a family overnight and 15 puppies...well that's a lot.

Doug will get some much needed help and a nice break that he needs and deserves. He has a good sim league support system. All will be fine peeps, don't fret.

A DC-inputting team to help alleviate the workload of inputting daily is in the works. If you are interested in taking on some responsibility in this, please let me know. A few have already expressed interest, but if you can reliably commit the time to it on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis, then your help is greatly appreciated. Obviously flexibility is there, once whoever is going to be part of the input team is ironed out.

Additionally, compensation for helping is also being considered (points).

Just an update on this: after thinking things over and talking out some plans of action for seasons going forward, I'll continue being commissioner after this season. Last week was a little rough (sim and real life, overwhelming thangs going on), but it's starting to stabilize and look good. I think we have a good plan of action going forward and look forward to making SLOE great again.

Sorry for all of the confusion and uncertainty.

I had posted this thread before even finishing Nick's series, and had pretty much decided on staying last week. I just hadn't posted on here because I had a busy weekend.
