Najera, a forward from Mexico, became the first Mexican player to be drafted in the PBSL. He was picked #27 by the Dallas Mavericks. In his 4 seasons with Dallas he averaged 3.6 ppg and 2.5rpg. He started 27 games due to injuries in Dallas last year. His contract was not renewed after his rookie deal.
