Kwame Brown, a center from the Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia, opted to forgo college and declare for the 2001 PBSL draft. He was selected with the 18th pick by the Toronto Raptors, but he never caught on with Toronto, despite playing in 80 games as a rookie. He has also had stints in Charlotte and Minnesota. His career averages are 1.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
"I'm excited to get a chance to learn behind a legend like Kevin Garnett," Brown said. "I just hope I can prove myself more than I did for my previous teams."
